Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Momentum ("Momentum," "we," or "us"), available at firemomentum.com, collects, uses, and protects your information. Momentum is an AI-powered daily routine and wellness coaching app currently offered as a beta. By using Momentum, you agree to the practices described here and in our Terms of Service.
1. Information We Collect
We collect the information you provide and generate while using the app:
- Account information: your email address (for authentication).
- Profile & health data: details such as name, age, sex, height, weight, timezone, and your sleep, movement, dietary, and energy preferences and goals.
- Activity & check-in data: your daily routines, blocks, habit completions, goals, food/meal logs, and daily check-in responses (energy, mood, sleep quality, notes).
- Calendar data: when you connect Google Calendar, the events we read to avoid scheduling conflicts and the routine blocks we optionally write back.
- Usage data: basic technical and interaction data needed to operate the app, such as session state and app-usage counts (e.g. AI request limits).
2. How We Use Your Information
Your data is used to provide and improve the Service, specifically to:
- Generate and personalize your daily routine, plans, and AI coaching.
- Track your progress across the Nutrition, Movement, Sleep, and Energy pillars and your goals.
- Provide habit tracking, recommendations, and check-in insights.
- Sync with Google Calendar when you choose to connect it.
- Maintain your account and operate the Service securely.
3. Health Data Sensitivity
Some of the information you provide is health-related and especially sensitive. You consent to our collection and processing of this data solely to deliver the personalized coaching and tracking features described above. We do not sell your health data, and we do not use it for advertising. Health-related inputs may be sent to our AI provider to generate coaching (see Section 4); we share only what is needed to produce your guidance.
AI-generated wellness coaching has limitations and is not a substitute for professional medical, nutritional, or mental health advice. Please review the AI Coaching Disclaimer in our Terms of Service.
4. Third-Party Services
We rely on the following third-party providers to operate Momentum:
- Anthropic (Claude): generates AI coaching, plans, and recommendations. Relevant context from your profile and activity is sent to Anthropic to produce your guidance. Anthropic processes this data to return a response and does not use it to train its models on your behalf under our API terms.
- Supabase: provides authentication and secure database hosting where your data is stored.
- Google (Calendar API): used only when you connect your Google account, to read events and optionally write routine blocks to a dedicated "Momentum" calendar.
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with advertisers or data brokers.
5. Google Calendar Data
When you connect Google Calendar, we read your events to detect scheduling conflicts and can optionally write routine blocks to a dedicated "Momentum" calendar in your account. We store your OAuth tokens securely and access only your calendar data — nothing else from your Google account. You can disconnect at any time from Settings, which removes our access.
6. Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored in our cloud database (powered by Supabase) protected by row-level security policies so that only you can access your own data. All data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS). No method of storage or transmission is 100% secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.
7. Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your associated data is permanently removed within 30 days, except where we are required to retain certain information to comply with legal obligations.
8. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access and export your data.
- Correct inaccurate information in your profile.
- Delete your account and associated data.
- Disconnect third-party integrations (such as Google Calendar) at any time.
You can exercise these rights from within the app's Settings, or by contacting us using the email below.
9. Cookies and Local Storage
We use authentication session cookies to keep you signed in, and browser local storage for offline caching and performance. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
10. Children's Privacy
Momentum is intended for users 18 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you through the app or by other reasonable means. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
